This natural bristle body brush can be used for bathing to wash the skin, or for dry brushing, which offers detoxifying health benefits, detailed below. The hand strap on this brush makes it easy to use with one hand.
Using a natural bristle brush like this one for daily dry brushing is one of the best ways to cleanse your body of toxins. Dry brushing is the practice of brushing the skin with a natural bristle brush when your skin is dry. This practice loosens dead skin cells, opening pores and allowing the skin to breathe, while also aiding circulation. Dry brushing works by stimulating the lymphatic system, which removes toxins within the body through eliminative organs and lymphatic drainage sites.

Use and care
When using the brush for scrubbing in the shower, scrub using the long handle, or detach the head and place the hand under the strap to guide the brush across the skin. Rinse and set to air dry with bristles facing down after use.
Dry brush when skin is dry. The best time to do it is in the morning, before exercising or bathing, or the evening before bedtime, and it should take no more than 3-5 minutes. Starting with the bottoms of your feet, gently brush skin using long upward strokes. Move upward from the feet to ankles, calves, and concentrate on the area behind the knees. Brush the upper legs, torso, and at last, use long strokes from the wrists to the shoulders and underarms.
To wash, rinse bristles gently in warm water, and air dry with bristles facing down.
